It’s been a good 10 days since Paul Gale Network provided you with an update on Title Fight, but do know that I have been working behind the scenes to try and do something special for you…and now’s the time to share it.  I contacted my source with the following proposal:

“What do you think about PaulGaleNetwork.com having a continuously updating article that isn’t used as a gateway for me to share information with my readers, but rather one that’d be a designated place on the web where the legions of fans that are so passionate about Title Fight can share their thoughts…ranging from concerns about the game, to voices of thank you’s, to real suggestions for the development team for Sony first party characters that HAVE to make it/recommended 3rd party characters, stages, items, music, and any other possible idea imaginable.”

I went on further with the pitch, saying that there are so many creative ideas that get shared online in the form of comment sections attached to articles and message board forums, but it’d be too difficult for a developer/publisher to sift through everything and pick the best of the bunch (especially with there being thousands of websites to gather information from).  This idea of mine was an effort to really try and attach the development team of Title Fight with the people that will be the cause of the game’s success: YOU.

My source was all aboard with the idea, but I also contacted both Sony and SuperBot Entertainment’s PR team to get their “ok” and thus have this idea be officially sanctioned.  Though at the time of this writing, SBE did not get back, Sony did and was optimistic.  So that being said, here’s how it will work.

From now on, if you have any idea about a character roster that you would like to see in the game, made up of either all Sony first party characters or with the inclusion of a few key 3rd party characters, share it here.  If you’ve got ideas of stages that you feel could truly work and have conceptualized every last detail, share it here.  If there’s a list of songs, items, ideas for a story mode, whole movesets for the fighters, different titles for the game to don, release date recommendations, etc…share it here.

What I will do in return is once a week, submit all new entries that Paul Gale Network receives from all of you, to Sony and/or SuperBot Entertainment (with my specific source receiving everything).  I can’t guarantee a response from them back to you, but at least you’ll know that everything you have to share, even if it’s a “thanks for making this game finally happen”, will make its way to someone that’ll actually read it.

I’m looking forward to seeing what you all have to say .  Also, this story will have a permanent spot in the upper left hand corner of PGN’s main page, alongside the currently featured article, Street Fighter Legends: Ryu (my fan made video project for Capcom).  Thank you all!

    welll we Definitely need random items that one hit ko’s people in a Messed up and hilarious ways like brawl does (Obviously these items can be disabled) Bombs, Hammer (although what can sony possibly have that’s like the hammer…) home run bat o.O? wait definitely need something like the bat charge up and then BOOM

  6. Hello I would like to post my idea of an ideal move set of Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7.

    A reason to include cloud in the game is because he was the icon of a game changing storyline that brought loss, love, and a grabbing story into many of its predecessors.

    Character summation- Cloud would be moderately fast in the final fantasy world but given the reach and size of his buster sword it would make sense to slow him a bit like we see with Ike from Fire emblem. His qoutes would be directed at he “darkness” or “the world” both references to jenova and sephiroth. Also including his “light” (Aeris or the lifestream)

    Standard attacks. Smash up*- The charge smash up ive taken from his normal attack from 4x slash in ff7. A general uplifting of the sword with the edge reversed and in front of him. A scoop if you will that would be nice to set people up for a juggle.

    smash down*- in order to prevent dodge roll counters clouds down smash would need to hit both sides. with this a general side to side heavy swing will work.

    Smash side*- Clouds smash side would be part of his “Braver” attack from ff7. A violent stab to the side, which will move cloud along with it a couple feet. this would be hard to dodge if you incorrectly judge the distance of the attack.

    Aerial down*- i thought this through and clouds aerial down would most likely be cloud slashing in a downward arc but spinning his body with the slash. Cloud is know for his Mid-air combat and this would show him exhibiting skill in this area.

    Aerial side*- clouds aerial side I’ve taken from Advent Children and Dissidia (who in turn got it from Advent Children) Cloud puts his sword arm and sword over his left shoulder and lets loose a massive and fast swing.

    Aerial up*- clouds Aerial up needs to put the reach of his sword to place for finishers and juggling. I say a nice and heavy arc.

    Special 1*- The special attack is sometimes used as a recovery so it makes much sense that this attack be his iconic “Braver” limit break from ff7. he lights a blue flamey aura, rushes to target with body and sword extended for a medium distance. Upon impact there is an immediate flip with a sword slam downward onto target. This move should be chargeable to increase distance and finishing power.

    Special 2*- This attack needs to be more damaging so i have chosen meteor rain from ff7. Dissidia did a good job on the animation for this attack. He spins sword then slams into ground. With both arms extended forward meteors rain onto targets (small meteors) causing high damage and flight.

    special 3* This is a MUST. His final attack would almost definitely be Omnislash from ff7. This is his most iconic finisher from the game and all his appearances except kh. The set up is simple. His sword changes from the regular buster sword to the ultima sword instantly then he slams it into ground using his blade beam attack. This will travel horizontally wherever he used it and he will hold the sword up in the air and the tip will shine a bright light all while the sword beam has hit and knocked people into position. He then leaps the central camera and a horizontal rush of green surrounds him and the targets. He then delivers a devastating 13 blows then the last one being a recharging of his sword (like at the beginning) and a devastating blow which will most likely finish all the opponents. The move is not op given that would just simply needs to dodge or leap over the sword beam just like over zeldas light bow in SSBB.

    This is my idea of a cloud strife character in title fight, thank you

  7. Stages –

    Ubermall (Wipeout HD)
    In Ubermall, racers whiz by at blinding speeds, and will cause MASSIVE DAMAGE (no pun intended) to anyone hit, and can KO already weak fighters. There is a red X in the center of the stage, a weapon pickup pad, that will give items when touched. The vehicles in wipeout can be attacked, blown up, and have items salvaged from them. When a player is KO’d, the announcer will calmly state “Contender Eliminated.” As for stage music, there are tons of tracks in wipeout that would work.

    For a twisted metal stage, I have two that would work… but the former may not be popular.

    Neon City (Twisted Metal 4)
    Neon City, while hailing from 4, has a lot of potential to make a great stage. The battling takes place on the roof, with the train to the left. The train can ruin your day, but is destroyable (it respawns). A hovertrain will float ahead, dropping pickups and is invincible, so don’t get any funny ideas. You can break the glass of the building to your right, finding a health pickup, which will heal you, if health pickups are implemented into the game The stage-specific item is lightning. All who aren’t in the building (including the user) will be shocked for some heavy damage. As for music, Sony could try and get Cirrus (The author of Time’s Running Out, the original stage BGM) to give them the license, or Sony could make their own track.

    For the one that will get a more positive reception –

    Rooftop Combat (Twisted Metal 1)
    On the rooftop with the glass pyramid, four fighters fight for the title. The glass can be broken to find a recharge station (again, if health pickups are implemented) and heal. You can fall off, and it WILL be an instant KO. The stage music could be an orchestral remix of the original, and the stage could have plenty of breakables. It would also be a proper place for an item I am about to reveal.

    Items –

    Playstation CD –
    Pick one up, and an old (or new) pal will come to help (or hinder) your progress. CD items will have a (CD) placed next to their name

    Minion (Twisted Metal 2) (CD)
    Minion’s tank drops into the stage, flattening anybody dumb enough not to run screaming and sobbing. Invincible, All powerful, all ally. Deals HEAVVY contact damage, and his Serpent Missile Special weapon will freeze players as well as dealing heavy damage! Frightening!

    Militia (InFamous 2) (CD)
    A squad of militia will drop onto the stage, firing at enemies for you. They can be KO’d, and can fall off the stage.

    Katamari (Katamari) (CD)
    The Katamari ball will roll around onscreen, collect items, and damage players.

    Shield (Wipeout)
    Activate this shield (which also plays the SHIELD ACTIVE sound clip) and sneer in the face of death with your temporary invincibility! Does not work for falls, or environmental deaths that would normally be an instant kill.

    Remote Bomb (Twisted Metal 2)
    Drop it to arm it, and hit whatever your item button may be to detonate it again. Be careful not to get caught in the blast.

    RT Ryukyu (Ridge Racer) (CD)
    Namco would probably have to give you the license, but nothing says Playstation more than Ridge Racer. The RT Ryukyu would race across the screen at high speeds, twice (once each way) and deals low-damage, high-knockback to enemies.

    Blast Shard (InFamous)
    The Blast Shard is an interesting item.Collecting five will give you a temporary boost to your speed and attack. You can pummel shards out of characters, too.

    Characters –

    The big one. I’m going to go WAAAAY back and pick some obscure ones, so bear with me. I WILL NOT write movesets, as that takes much time, and that’s ultimately up to the developers, but I will come up with playstyles and list weapons that COULD BE moves. I’m not going to say the likes of Cole, or Carmelita, as they will probably be included.This is for characters that may get passed over.

    Sir Daniel Forteasqeu (MediEvil)
    The undead, fearless knight who singlehandedly (quite literally, seeing as how he throws his other arm as a weapon) took down evil wizards, giant insects, and ghouslish… ghouls. Sir Dan has a multitude of pointy pokers and projectiles, such as a greatsword, an axe, crossbow, longbow, daggers which can be thrown, and even his own arm! Sir Daniel Also has a charge, and spin attack, and lots of vitality. He’d be hard to KO through normal means, but lacks a solid recovery, allowing for easy falls. He’d be hard-hitting,with deent mobility, but don’t bother with his air-game. He couldn’t jump over a fence.

    Kingsly (Kingsly’s Adventure)
    Who? Yes, if Sony made it their mission to forget this guy, they have succeeded. Which is a shame, since his game is fun to play! Developed by Psygnosis (Which Sony purchased near the beginning of the Playstation’s life cycle) this is a First Party character! Kingsly is a fox cub raised by the king and queen of Carrot Castle, and he sets out to fight Bad Custard, an evil wizard who wants to rule the land (who doesn’t?) Kingsly has a multitude of cute little weapons, which, due to their small size and light nature, would deal little damage. BUT WHY? Kingsly is agile, and plays a good defense, light, yet hard to knock off stage due to a great recovery. Easy to KO, but hard to get ahold of. Kingsly is High-Risk, High-reward. With quick, nimble moves and some strong weapons as superbar moves (he has a gamut of weapons and ranged bruisers, in bite sized form) he’d be tricky to master, but rewarding.

    LONG SHOT CHARACTERS

    These characters probably aren’t going to make it in, but would have a great moveset potential.

    X1-ALPHA (FUTURE COP L.A.P.D.)
    Reasons for being a longshot –
    Electronic Arts owns the liscence, game was also on Windows and Mac
    X1-ALPHA is a police mech piloted by one of Los Angeles’s Future Finest. The X1-APLHA has an incredible range of weapons intended to bust the heaviest criminal enterprises in existence. The concussion blast (a sonic boom that demolished anything in the area) would make a good level 1 and 2, while the super-mortar (a mortar that split into several more mortars) would be a DECIMATING level 3. X1-ALPHA has great mobility, being able to switch from bipedal, to hovercar (bipedal could be the slower, heavier mode, while players could switch to hovercar on the fly for less precision and more run and gun, something that could be incorporated into title fight.) Strong normals and a heavy arsenal (Miniguns, Electroguns, Flamethrowers, Mortars, Hellfire rockets, homing rockets, etc…) could make this a heavyweight bruiser with versatility. Just stay out of the air, she sinks like a brick.

    GEX (Gex series)
    Reasons for being a longshot –
    Gex was ported to other systems, Voiced by Dana Gould and Gould might not want to reprise the role
    Gex is a TV addicted gecko who occasional is forced to save the himself (and by extension, the world) from a manic killer and Media Dimension tyrant, Rez. But enough about that, Happy Days is on! Gex can stick to walls, whip a fast tail, and is equipped with a sense of wit that humbles Deapool. His running commentary on the match that is unfolding and his dialogue with others would be hilarious. He can spit fire, ice, and lighting with the help of special bugs, which give him a versatile moveset. His wall-Sticking ability gives him great recovery, and his long tounge gives him an organic lasso with which to grab onto the stage ledge, or grab opponents. His tail bounce can give him high jumps. Quick, nimble, unorthodox in manner and playstyle, Gex is a wild card.

    THE SOLDIER (Team Fortress 2)
    Reasons for being a longshot –
    Valve owns the license, TF2 is multiplat, Not a strong connection with Sony, PC centric franchise
    After Sony has apparently gotten Buddy-Buddy with Valve, It would be interesting to see a crossover here. The Soldier would be a perfect fit, already having the cartoonish playstyle and character for a fighter such as this. His moveset is explosive and potent, with plenty of weapons and an Ubercharge for a level 3. A crocket (crit rocket) would be a perfect level 1 and 2. I’m sure Valve would be willing to cooperate, though. And this would make sense from a gameplay perspective.

    STORY MODE –

    Please… PLEASE make a genuine effort on the story mode. Characters should have interactions, motivations, and it should be adequately explained why all this is happening. A long, cinematic quest would be a lot better than a few random matches and an ending that clocks around 2 minutes (yes, Capcom, that is LAZY.)

    Well, You guys know what you’re doing, good job. And please… please vouch for Kingsly. He doesn’t get much attention. It would be an oddball choice, but I think if R.O.B. can be made into a fighting game character, and Phoenix Wright can make it into umvc3, anything’s possible.

  8. Overall Suggestions:
    ===================

    1.) Include an Adventure/Story Mode – made up of numerous side-scrolling levels with bosses of different franchises to fight at the end of each level

    2.) Include plenty cut scenes explaining the plot of point (1.)’s Adventure/Story Mode (similar to SSBB’s Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary)

    3.) Have a roster that is over 30+ playable characters – the currently suggested 20 characters is too little a number as a roster in my opinion

    1. i agree with the story but i wud like them to do something different for the story, like have some parts levels that r in FPS view, and some that require you to find things to get to the next level, i want the story to be big and diverse and interactive, and i also agree that it should have cut scenes and have voice acting in the cut scenes for the characters that actually talk, while having those little grunts and other noises for the characters that don’t talk, as for the character roster being 30 plus i dont think it should have that many since it would be easier to balance out 20 plus characters than 30 plus characters, would u rather have 30 unbalanced characters or would u rather have a less and more balanced roster that way if it were to have tournaments people wouldnt have to use only like 8 of the characters on the roster because those are the cheapest in the game and can beat pretty much all the other characters, i say 25 characters max for the roster

  10. Title Fight definetely needs a story mode. The story is about every playable character,each has his/her own side of the story depending on who you’re playing as. And no matter who you play as it all leads to the same ending, but if you play as every character you’ll understand the entire plot.
    Title Fight needs a boss enemy, like Super Smash Bros has master Hand and Tabuu. I think a boss similar to Tabuu will fit perfectly!

  11. I got a story idea. It should be something like Playstation Move Heroes.
    So all the playable characters(and the chameos) are abducted from their original homelands and are brought into the same world. They are brought into the Gleebertopia setting from PSM Heroes(which I think its name should be changed to Nibiru). A figure appears among them, the boss enemy(who I think he should look something like Tabuu from SSB). He tells all the fighters and the chameos that their worlds have merged and its causing a natural disbalance to the virtual world. If their worlds are merged, there will be no new video game IPs. He claims he is responsible for the incident and that each must defeat him in battle, but they must fight each other first. The winner is the one who confronts “Tabuu” and must defeat him to return to his/her world and let new IPs to be created in the virtual world. Every character has to defeat “Tabuu” to finish the story completely.

  14. ive got an idea for a modnation racers level: first off you fight on a racetrack where the mods are racing, their are railings that outline the track and trees near them, occationally the mods will drive down the racetrack and hit any players in their way, and the best part of the level is that the level constantly keeps changing while you fight, like mountains will start to form on the sides or the centre of the arena which can get in the way and create new strategies for the players, another thing that can happen is the racetrack slanting to one side creating a curve, another is the ground sinking in making a crater, or sinking in while water fills it up creating a pond, another is ramps being created on the sides of the arena where the cars can drive on into the air to hit anyone that is up their, each of the changes offers different strategies for the players to defeat their opponents, the level item in this level is a steering wheel, once picked up a huge truck appears that is blank, and whatever character you are, the car is created to represent how the character is, eg sweet tooths will look like his ice cream truck, kratos’ will look all god of war like, etc. and then the character jumps in the truck and is able to drive it and run over opponents.

    the Trophies are lieing around with figures of different characters and then you pick up the trophies and different things happen (I know thats in brawl… but ps3 does literally have trophies before title fight >.>)

    and then you can also have a trophy for wipe out cars with run through the stage… at the speed of light >.>

    well maybe all the suggestions people have here, even if ideas don’t make it, you can take all the characters they say and add the characters best move and turn them into trophy items!

  16. I personally think that spyro the dragon is a must have for this game not only is he a sony exclusive from ps1 he also has great vesitility.
    He can have regular bit and claw moves also the ram from every spyro game. Also his fire ball, fire breathing, and the elmental attacks from spyro a new begining.
    Spyro seems like a perfect match in this game not only would he remind sony fans about the good old spyro game that seem foggy in everyone minds due to obssesions with kratos, altiare, and nathan drake.
    Please consider spyro i am really lookin forward to the game but i would feel lacking without spyro in it.

    the starting location of spyro the dragon 1 with dragons in the background. (mabe some sort of interaction.
    an ape escape level where the monkey stampede the stage after a banana is picked up.
    A level at new marias from infamous 2.

  18. Spyro the dragon is a must have for this game, im already super looking forward to the game. But I think it would feel like it would be laking if he wasn’t there to join in the fight and relive his former glory.

    spyro is a perfect fit for this brawl styled game not only becuase he’s an exlcusive first party person. He was definantly iconic for the ps1. His attacks could be: claw attacks, tail attacks, bites, fireball, firebreathing, his head bash dash, or some of the elemental attacks he used in spyro a new begining. He would definantly add to the game in a very good way.

  19. A spyro the dragon level- the one from the first game were spyro first started at the begining of the area. the stone dragons or baddies could have interaction also ripto or some one.

    An ape escape level would rock with the monkeys runing around in the background. they could stampede when you pick up a banana on the ground or in the air.

    an um jammer level would be cool where lammy and the band are playing in the back ground and if you pick up a guitar you would have to play a solo if you succede your strength boost, fail your strength weakens.

    a new marias level from infamous 2 would be awsome.

  20. a story mode where it makes sense for the charcters to be seeing each other and where they are meeting would be very nice. something with some script (unlike super smash bros. brawl) and very good voice acting. there being some sort of light controll on what is said would fit nicely. I don’t think everyone should be all freindly when they first meet and for some sort of conspiracy theory to be intact.

  21. I’ve made up movesets for like 10 characters but I feel I’d be going overboard to post them all here at once. I’ll just send one for now and see what people think. I’ll toss out a few other things as well.

    ~Title Fight Throwdown~

    I’m going to have to make up my own controls because they weren’t directly told to us quite yet. So X will be to jump. Square will be basic/light attacks. Triangle will be special attacks. Circle will be heavy/power attacks.

    Also I’d like to say I don’t agree with every character needing a super move that just does damage. Those moves can simply be used to help you benefit in some sort of way. Speed boost, extra damage, extra defense, etc.

    Cole~Infamous
    Cole is a medium weight character. Cole is able to bring both styles of battle to the field. Hero or Villain, Cole will get the job done. He is similiar to Zelda/Sheik with his Static Karma. As a Villain, Coles attacks do a tad bit more damage. As a Hero, Coles attacks charge his Super bar a tad bit faster. If your special bar is full, both effects are cancelled.   22. You could make a dimly lit level and call it Temple. It would be a flat map with no cliffs though so the only way to die is to knock your enemy far to the side or flying high up in the sky. The map would play out in the main upper room of the Temple map in Uncharted 2. Every once in a while you might see some bats flying by. The level itself wouldn’t have any type of serious danger though. You could play this song for the stage,

    I myself don’t really like the KO until you run out of life idea, unless you plan on making it like the Stamina matches in Brawl. It seemed a lot different that way it was described though.

  23. I hope the game focuses more on knocking people of the stage instead of the odd Stamina system described before. It doesn’t make too much since to me. Do you have to do an insane 20 hit combo to kill someone when they’re near death or do you just need to do one good power attack.

    I also hope all Supers or Final Smash’s aren’t attacks only. A nice booster can help out some characters as well. Like a speed boost, attack buff, damage buff, etc.

    Anyways I put together some builds for some characters but they’d take up way too much space. So I’ll just post one and see what people think.

    Title Fight Throwdown

    My Cole is a very unique character and I hope I see characters differing in this game. There are many characters with guns that people want to see, but it would be boring to have 7 gunners and them all specializing in gunshots. Lets make characters differ in huge ways Sony.

    My Cole is a very unique character and I hope I see characters differ in Sony’s game. With all the star shooting characters out there, it’d be boring to have most of them specialize in shooting. I hope to see each player have their own incredible play-style.

    I also believe that the Supers shouldn’t have to be attacks only. Boosters can help out a lot too. A speed boost, attack buff, defense buff, etc.

    The original key blade should be a pickup in the game, (if sora doesn’t make an appearence)it would be similar to the bat and lightsaber in ssmb.
    Moves:
    sweet tooth’s level 1 should be a power missle were he pulls a piece of a broken car and uses that piece of the car to shoot the missle, his level 2 should be the flaming chainsaw from twisted metal, and the level 3 was already decided as the robot transformation.

  27. Instead of commenting on what characters should be in the game, I am going to post on what I think needs to be done in order for the game to be successful.

    Balanced Characters
    Whom ever they choose to be in the game, the characters need to be balanced. Universally among fighting games, what makes or breaks a character is pretty much based on three attributes:
    Speed
    Priority
    Projectiles
    If a character has any of these, it stands a fighting chance. So the characters need to either have some, all, or at least one of these properties to have a fighting chance. Secondly I would say maybe power and being able to get back on the stage, these are optional, but defiantly the first three.

    Make the game with respect to tournaments

    Kinda piggy backing off the previous point, the game needs to be made with the tournament scene in mind. True this game is going to be a casual experience, but after 3 months the casuals fans would have moved on to other games, and the tournament players or people who play on a competitive level will be the ones buying all the DLC and spending money on the post game. So the game needs to be balanced so that it won’t be like Brawl where out of 35+ characters only 8 are ever scene toward the end of a tournament. This points also touches on the content in the game. If spending more time on balancing characters means lesser game content, then so be it. There is no reason to put in special modes or challenges (Brawls create a stage, 15 minute demos of older games, special brawl, useless tournament mode, etc) if they will not be used by the “hardcore” players. This game should have the bare bones of a fighting game including (versus mode, online play, story mode, practice mode, customize mode). I personally don’t see the point of the developers wasting time on aspects of the game that won’t be played or even recognized. Items should be some what the same way. Put in items, but don’t have too many items for the simple fact that they will be turned off for competitive play.

    Online Play
    Off the bat if their online is better than the Wii’s (which it is) then it will already have a big fan base. The online is vital to the game being played and enjoyed to the maximum. There needs to be leader boards, create match and find a match, and all the other typical online options you find in an online game. I think this goes without saying.

    That Smash Brothers Feeling
    Simply put the game needs to feel like smash. Everything to the sound, to the physics, the vibrant colors, and the presentation. If the game is going to be an imitation (which is nothing wrong with that) then the game needs to imitate the what makes its predecessor so great, and expand on what it is lacking.

    If all of these points are met, then I can bet that this game will be successful and enjoyed by all. Of course everybody will have their individual likes and dislikes, but if SuperBot can follow this guideline, then it will work.

    First party:
    1.Ratchet & Clank-A given if Jak and Sly are in.
    2.Sackboy (Littlebigplanet)-Sony’s mascot…
    3.Nariko (Heavenly Sword)-A good female lead.
    4.Cole McGrath (Infamous)-Has many superpowers.
    5.Chimera (Resistance)-More iconic than Nathan Hale, to me.
    6.Sir Dan Fortesque (Medievil)-Classic PS1 character with weapons like sword, shield, crossbow, etc.
    7.Spike or Specter(Ape Escape)-Classic PS1 characters with weapons like the monkeynet, lightsaber, slingshot,etc.
    8.Ico & Yorda- They could fight together like the Ice climbers.
    9.Wander (Shadow of Colossus)-Has weapons like sword, bow, etc. similar to Link.
    10.Tomba- Don’t know if he’s owned by Sony, but another classic PS1 character.

    Third party:
    1.Crash Bandicoot- Classic PS mascot that would feel right to have him in.
    2.Spyro the Dragon- Along with Crash, classic PS mascot.
    3.Old Snake (Metal Gear Solid)-One of the best characters associated with PS.
    4.Cloud Strife (Final Fantasy)-Could’ve chosen any FF character, but i feel that in terms of popularity, he would be the best choice.

    So there’s my roster, even though there’s plenty of franchises to choose from. Hope this would be considered at SuperBot!!

    There needs to be golden online gaming. a good network so we dont have to worry with an overload of disconections and lagg. i think there needs to be not a professional matching system but a lobby system were you can watch a match and wait for your turn at the same time, to the feel of mortal kombat’s king of the hill. screw match making system every one ever used in any game has sucked horribly please avoid it all costs.

    MODES-
    A good amount of different play modes both online and offline.

    LEVELS-
    SOUND SHAPES: A sound shapes level where you can collect the little green orbz to produce the level’s sound track, also the different things that make sound in the sound shapes game like the red cannon for drum beats.
    ESCAPE PLAN: An escape plan level where it tones down the characters art styles and makes them escape plan art style, also one the more famous levels trap like the hammer or something with a switch were someone can activate it and KO someones else’s player.
    GRAN TURISMO: a gran turismo level with a gran turismo banner in the back ground and the cars racing around the track. If a steering wheel is picked up then your character would disappear and a car flys across the screen. then your character would appear back in the same place.
    TWISTED METAL: The Dark Carnival level from twisted metal 4 would rock, it was probobly one of the best levels ever in the twisted metal franchise. A piece sweet tooth’s vehical could be a pick up that makes the little different coloured clown heads attack all the other fighters.

A great idea for a mode would be king of the hill where you pick somwhere between 3 and 6 level then a random generater mashes them into one where each level has a piece of land and an icon to represent it. your character would first have to run to that levels representing space then take the item. when hit with a medium (or higher) strengthed attack then the character would then release that item. then the item could be picked up by any character then the character with the item would have to tag the land it represents, making it theirs. every 10 seconds that goes by every piece of land that character controls gives him a point. who ever has the most points at the end of the pre-set time wins.

  33. Okay now i’m just spitting out some idea’s here.

    I would love to see the characters seigfreid or Nightmare from Soul Calibur 5, there special could be there swords becoming more powerful some how. It would also be sooooooooo cool to see both Sora and Riku from the kingdom hearts games. Riku’s special would allow him to transform into dark mode, being faster and a bit stronger. something else that would also be coo would be to see Assasins creeds etzio. It would be amazing if he was in it. Jak and Daxter (From the game of the same name) would be great as seperate characters as well. Their specials would allow them to become the dark vertions of themselves. The last group of characters I think would be awesome to see in the game would be Ryu, Evil Ryu, and maybe Juri all from Super Street Fighter 4.

    another really good idea would be having a psp verstion of the game. Also having invizimals somehow apart of the PSP vertion by connecting a camera and playing on your table as a stage of its own. it would be a psp exclusive, which would bring even more fans that don’t have PS3’s but do have PSP’s.

    For the story mode, an idea would be to allow for the players to choose from characters that they have teamed up with and going to other worlds (The different stages) and finding people to fight and also recruiteing them to fight an evil darkness. Just a thought and it could be built apon to make it even better. thanks for listining and I can’t wait to see this game transfrom and i Really can’t wait to actually play the game when it’s done.

  34. Simply make this game as wacky and nutty as possible, and also throw in as much fanservice as possible. That’s what people love Smash Bros for, and that’s what I’m certain people would love to see in Title Fight.

    Speaking of which, the name feels a bit generic. It’s been said before, but Playstation Battle Opera is the only way to go.

    Also, as a release date suggestion, summer would be a great time to bring it out.

  38. How about a stage for Payday: The Heist? The bank robbers could be in the background performing the heist, and the stage would change as the robbery progresses. A stage- specific item could have the FBI throw in tear gas and then infiltrate the bank. I’d love to see this game get some love here, it’s a really fun and underrated game

Payday is a fun game that Sony really should have better supported. They really dropped the ball on supporting their exclusives this past year (Payday, Killzone 3, Little Big planet 2, Motorstorm Apocalypse, Payday). Hopefully they’ll get it right this year.

    1. I don’t think Sweet Tooth freezes people, he is a fire type guy isn’t her? I would assume that he uses his machete and sprays oil and fire. Maybe throws oil barrels and then can shoot fire onto them to make them explode. You have to think a little more outside the box. Captain Falcon in smash bros has all these crazy falcon punch fire moves yet in the games he only drives his car, nothing special.

    Silent Hill: From “Silent Hill”: Fight in the town of silent hill as it changes its shape, turning into its nightmarish form and back again.

    Raccoon City: From: “Resident Evil Series”: Fight in a zombie ridden street, With the chance to use a special item, “The Umbrella Missile”. It Destroys the level leaving it a broken wasteland, eliminating all other players. You then fight across the destroyed level.

    The Railroad: From “Red Dead Redemption”: Fight atop a train traveling through the world of “Red Dead”, Dodging bandits and robbers who attempt to siege the train from horse back.

    The Field: From “Madden Series”: Just a simple stage to fight on. The Special Item could involve the referee, giving the owner an advantage. maybe a speed or defense boost.

    PAINlabs: From “Pain”: Battle in a wacky collection of structures and gadgets from PAIN as the PAIN theme plays and the Stars of pain fly across the level. Special item allows you to launch a Pain Character at the other fighters.

    Limbo: From “Limbo”: Brings you into the dark gloomy world of limbo. Fight as giant spiders crawl in the shady background. A Hazardous spider rests on the side waiting to strike, sending its sharp legs through your skull.

    Shadow Moses: From “Metal Gear Solid”: I suppose it would be something like it is from brawl but more fitting to the game. Like no self rebuilding walls and no walls that weren’t there to begin with.

    Pit: From “Mortal Kombat”: Anyone who’s played Mortal Kombat knows how this level will play. Special Item is “Fatality” It’s the ability to uppercut enemy’s of the edge into the spikes(no gore) below and sends them flying off.

    Haunted Street: From “F.E.A.R Series”: Fight Among a gritty gory scene as Mechs and Alma(If Shes Not Playable) roam the level, If she is then Normal ghosts will take her place.

    Modnation Track: From “Modnation Racers Series”: Works Similar to the “Mario Kart” Stage in brawl in the sense of the cars. However, It will have it’s own look entirely.

    =Story=

    [Three Way War]
    At some point in the story i would love to see a three way battle between: Nemesis (Resident Evil), Big Daddy (Bioshock), And Pyramid Head (Silent Hill).
    Que Cutscene; Your character walks in a dark silent warehouse filled with history of playstation and Sony. He proceeds through the dimly lit structure until he hears something from a few yards away. When “Flash!” rockets fly in your direction triggering a Quick Time Event to dodge them. When successfully evading the projectiles the figure that was formally a mere shadow steps out to reveal its true identity: Nemesis. As the nemesis charges at you, you feel helpless but a few feet before contact the bulky zombie is tackled from the side by Big Daddy. Your character is then startled by a little sister hiding behind him. As you both watch the deadly battle, rockets are flying and drills are sparking. When the two get close hand clutched and drill subdued in a battle of strength, the nemesis fires a rocket to win the strife. the explosion sends them both skidding backwards. As they recover they start to walk towards each other when a dragging noise sparks there interest. It’s the pyramid head disturbed by all the noise. After staring down at each other big daddy and nemesis both charge the pyramid head. The nemesis tries to use his hand worm but is quickly stopped by the pyramid head’s grip when at the same time a big daddy attempts to drill into his skull. However the thick structure on his head won’t collapse. I believe you get the just of it. I’ll let the real developers and writers take it from there. I just personally believe this is a three way war this game needs.

    As a kid i loved both the “Medievil” and “Twisted Metal” Series. So in a long shot i wanted to see Sir Dan take on Mr. Grimm. I know its way out there but i think it would be worth it seeing the goofy/clumsy Undead versus the intense/deadly undead.

    [Spy Vs. Spy]
    James Bond Vs. Solid Snake, if both characters are apart of this game. they have to have a duel of wits and weapons in the story. James was part of snakes creation. The Creation of snake was inspired by old action movie series such as “007”. It has to happen.

    [Forgotten Mascot]
    Polygon man needs a place as higher power, maybe main boss. My idea behind the story is Sackboy is captured by polygon man in his attempt to regain his throne as mascot. You, as in the player, tries to rescue sackboy. Maybe Toro can show up in some form.

    [Fight!]
    Scorpion and Ryu, If both included amongst the roster. Need to either Fight, Join forces, or both.
