Shawn Wayans was born on January 19, 1971 in New York City. He’s the second youngest of ten siblings total and got his start in the entertainment industry in 1988’s I’m Gonna Get You Sucka. Then, after having a role in Fox’s In Living Color, he really broke out in the 5 season running The Wayans Bros.

E3 2005: Shawn Wayans and Paul Gale

Shawn has since then been in a number of movies, with some of my favorites including the Scary Movie films and White Chicks. It’s actually regarding those movies that we began talking at E3 2005. I told Shawn how I liked his role as Ray in Scary Movie and that we need to see his role of Kevin from White Chicks come back some day. He said that he definitely enjoyed White Chicks and thanked me for giving him props.

Any time a celebrity of Shawn’s status takes time to have a little interview, snap some pics, and remain humble in the process…they’re solid in my book. I’m looking forward to seeing White Chicks 2 which is set to come out later this year (I told you it’d happen Shawn) and wish the actor well with all other projects too.
