Tina Wood was born on March 16, 1974 and use to be a co-host of G4TV.com alongside Laura Foy (as well as Geoff Keighley and Scot Rubin).
E3 2005: Tina Wood and Paul Gale
I first met Tina at E3 2005 and definitely remember what our first talk was about, Microsoft. With the Xbox 360 having its appearance strong at the show, due to it launching several months later, Tina and I discussed what we thought of the new system, its games on the horizon, etc.

What I liked about our talk was that her “in person” behavior was the same as her on screen persona. Sometimes you wonder if a representative for a company or product is doing something just to be a “face” that people enjoy watching, but in this case, make no mistake that Tina really is a gamer and fan of the industry all the way through. I always find that sort of thing, cool.

A year later when we met, it was actually alongside my long time friend, Tommy Tallarico. The three of us really had a fun time talking outside of Sony’s and Nintendo’s booths, with Tommy taking the picture above. The reason for the crazy smiles is because of what he was saying. More or less, he was making fanboy call-out jokes left and right. 🙂

Tina these days works for Microsoft Game Studios and at E3 2010 we talked about Gears of War 3 and my excitement grew even more for the game, as it’s my personal favorite Xbox 360 branded series. Tina’s been a proud mom for a few years and I wish her well with both her family life and future career in the video game industry. Thanks for being real.
