Christian Svensson has become an influential name in the world of all things Capcom over the last several years, having a strong position in the company’s ever improving relationship with its fans.

There are plenty of gamers out there with the desire to one day work in the video game industry to some capacity, and one of the things I applaud Christian on, is his work at trying to help those people find their way. He’s provided discussions to many at various Comic-cons and other such events and always comes off being quite helpful. For being both a Corporate Officer and Senior Vice-President, he’s also a very cool dude.

We met at E3 2009 for the first time and it was great to talk about Capcom’s upcoming projects, with our most similar interest being Street Fighter. I’m always a fan of people who are at the top of their game in what they say, but also appreciate when I find out that who they are is just as solid. I have to thank Christian for contributing a lot to this industry and for continuing to do great things for Capcom. Here’s to more awesome things to come from you in the future, my friend.
