If you’re a fan of Street Fighter, Mega Man, or any other of Capcom’s top franchises, then chances are you’ve seen or read some of Seth Killian’s opinions.

I was a reader and fan of Capcom-Unity for a long time, but when Seth came to Capcom and took control of that site, it only changed for the best. The presence of Capcom’s people is something always felt on that site and they’ve really become a company that works closely with their fans.

The first time I really started speaking with Seth, was for Capcom’s “Be Made Into a Character in Street Fighter IV” contest. I submitted my reason to Capcom, why I think I should be made a background character on June 8th, 2009, and one week later I got an e-mail from Seth, saying congratulations! I must say, that to this day, being an actual video game character in a franchise that I love so much and that has had such an inspiration in my life, is an incredible experience.

I also must say, that in case you were wondering, “Is Seth any good at Street Fighter”?…the answer is most definitely! I got a chance to play Tatsunoko vs. Capcom against Seth at E3 2009, while demoing the game for Nintendo of America representatives and at E3 2010, we fought in Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Both times, I got to really see his skills. It’s no secret that I’m a huge Street Fighter fan and that I play the game quite well, but Seth has his own unique way of playing, with his right hand on the joystick and left on the buttons of an arcade setup, and really knows how to deliver combos and dial things in on the fly.

Finally, if you’ve played either Street Fighter IV or Super Street Fighter IV, then you must know who Seth, is. He’s the main, last boss in the game and was actually named after Mr. Killian himself. I think it was a well deserved treat for Seth, to have the last boss of the game named after him. S-Kill, as he’s called on Capcom Unity, really does a great job in bringing Capcom’s games closer to its fans than ever before. I thank him for always taking the time to talk with me at these different shows and continuing to put things like my Street Fighter gingerbread me and Ryu pumpkin on his site. Keep on delivering those Shoryukens.

Go check out Capcom-Unity’s site and say hi to Seth.
