In another 15 minutes, UFC 154: Georges St-Pierre vs. Carlos Condit is going to be underway and the card is definitely a promising one. I have no doubt that with some of these matchups, we’ll get a quick knockout here, a hearty war there, and probably a few surprises. That’s what you simply come to expect out of UFC events, however.
And the main fight in GSP vs. Condit serves no different as it’s Welterweight Champion vs. Interim Welterweight Champion. On the one hand, St-Pierre has proven time and time again that he’s one of the very best in the world, with a record of 22-2…however, his last fight was in April, 2011, and no matter how good you are, coming off an injury, post-surgery and all, may lead to some ring rust.
And then there’s Carlos with an impressive record of 28-5, with a 5 fight win streak, and a formidable opponent in his own right. The man too, however, hasn’t fought since February, 2012, so though not nearly as long as a time off as Georges, it still might impact his performance.
But these two men are professionals of a very strong caliber, so I don’t think either will be hindered too much. One thing is very certain though and that’s that I’m pumped!
they are one of the best fighters someday I will be trainning box or muay thai lml
