Street Fighter X Tekken might have a while to go before it sees a release, but fortunately we’ll be able to play it at E3 this June at Capcom’s booth. Being a really big fighting game fan, I’m anticipating this title quite a bit and am eager to get my hands on it. To whet our appetite before June 7th rolls by, we have some great artwork to enjoy for now.
The best part of all the artwork featured is that the backgrounds are personalized to each character. Ryu training outside of his dojo, Ken by his Masters yacht, Chun Li in a Chinese garden, Guile in front of a jet, Abel amongst his fellow clones, Kazuya tearing through a dojo, King in the ring, Nina atop the skyscrapers, Bob in an eating hall, and Marduk in a cage. What this shows me is that the game will really have a sense of individuality amongst its characters and I’m happy for it. Here’s to repeating the old days of each character having his or her own, unique stage and to playing Street Fighter X Tekken (and possibly Tekken X Street Fighter) at E3.
