Google celebrating the World Fair

This morning when I went to Google and thought the art was really cool, especially when viewing it in detail with the magnifying glass. I happened to look around more thoroughly and noticed that in the bottom right corner there was a very familiar pair.

Professor Layton and Luke at the World Fair

Judge for yourself, but tell me that doesn’t look like Professor Layton (in yellow instead of brown) and Luke from Nintendo’s series of games on the DS. It could be a coincidence and the Google artist just drew those two characters to be a part of the art for the day (it celebrating the 160th anniversary of the World’s First Fair) or maybe the person secretly likes a little DS mystery series. Either way…pretty cool.
