If you’re a fan of comic books in any capacity, like super hero movies, or enjoy anything action-oriented…you’re probably looking forward to Marvel’s 2012 blockbuster movie, The Avengers. I’m happy to say that after viewing the official trailer in HD, I believe that Joss Whedon’s May 4, 2012 release is going to be simply epic.

The movie will have some big stars behind it, including Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Evans [Captain America (whom many last Summer said I looked like)], Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo [Bruce Banner (Lou Ferrigno is taking care of The Incredible Hulk)], and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury).

In addition to these heroes, we’ll have Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts) and Tom Hiddleston (Loki) back in action as well. I applaud Marvel for giving us fans what we really want and that’s a movie of this magnitude. Yes it’s going to be quite an expensive endeavor when all is said and done, but I’m positive that if the film is a quality product and delivers to audience’s expectations, then it will be one of the highest grossing films of all time.

My attention has certainly been grabbed for a long time now…and is only continuing to expand. Here’s to more as it breaks. But for now, what’d you all think?
