Tonight was UFC 135 which took place in Denver, Colorado, and in the main event we saw first-time defending champion, Jon “Bones” Jones, successfully defend his Light Heavyweight Championship Belt from a former champ, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.

This makes for the 24 year old fighter’s 5th win in a row inside the Octagon and brings his total career win-loss record to 14-1. I respect and recognize the training that Jon put into the fight and applaud him on a very solid performance, one where he left relatively unscathed.

Great job to Mr. Jones…I’m looking forward to how this young fighter’s career plays out in the UFC. I really have no doubt in my mind that he’s going to have quite a career. And to Rampage, you’ve given us a couple dozen highly memorable fights throughout your career, and I wish you the best as well.

Finally, to Josh Koscheck, Matt Hughes, and everyone else that competed tonight, thanks you.
