This video of two buds playing Street Fighter II on the SNES brings me a big smile as I think back to the simpler days where if you picked Ryu or Ken and played against a friend without much skill, you could just spam ’em repeatedly with a Hadouken.

Nowadays, there are a lot of options that Capcom has put in its games to avoid an almost certain loss from a fireball spammer. From elements like parrying in 3rd Strike to focus attacks in SF4…more overall skill is needed and it’s probably for the best. I hope you enjoy this video by piddlesthethug.
