Smallville
Smallville will be signing off with its 10th season that begins airing this September.

Smallville has been one of my favorite TV shows for the last decade. I remember getting really excited for it during the summer of 2001 when I was done with high school and getting ready for college. After months of anticipation, the show finally aired on October 23rd, 2001 and I haven’t missed an episode since. Now it’s all coming to an end, but what a triumphant one that seems to be.

Season 10 begins this September 24th, with the episode titled “Lazarus” and will be the first of this season’s 22 planned stories. We know that Smallville will see some returning cast members for the last season, including Jonathan Glover, (Lionell Luthor), John Schneider (Jonathan Kent), and likely both Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor) and Kristin Kreuk (Lana Lang).

At Comic-Con today, we saw a lengthy recap of all 9 prior seasons and a couple minute teaser trailer for season 10. In it we get some more insight on Clark’s main foe this time around…Doomsday! Though we don’t see him in the trailer, his presence is felt through his henchmen. Also, the #1 and #2 things that people want (interchangeably) to see this season are Clark (played by Tom Welling) flying and Clark in his Superman suit. Thankfully, it looks like we’re getting both at some point in this 2010-2011 season. Here’s to Smallville!

    1. Oh yeah, the time most definitely flies by. So much has happened to me in my life over the last decade and it’s just cool to know that Smallville has been with me during that whole time. 🙂 I love this show!
