This week saw a return to a Nintendo dominated presence in the top ten software chart, landing nine spots in total, including two new releases: Havestella and Daraemon. Meanwhile, Splatoon 3 maintained its lead position and will do so until Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet come out on November 18th.

On the hardware side of things, Nintendo Switch had a terrific showing with over 90,000 units sold, just 39 shy of tying itself in the same week last year. Expect the next eight weeks to be pretty strong for Nintendo. Also, anticipate a fair push for a few of these upcoming weeks, from Sony and Microsoft.

See you next week!
