Ten years ago, arguably the best entry in the SoulCalibur franchise debuted in SoulCalibur II and even had something special to set each console version apart. Link was exclusive to the GameCube build, Spawn was exclusive to Xbox, and Heihachi was exclusive to PlayStation 2. So far the game is set to hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with Heihachi confirmed to be in the PS3 version. The game will also have online fighting (as the name even implies).
No version has been announced yet for Wii U, but with the original SC2 selling best on GameCube thanks to Link’s inclusion, I’m personally one that’d recommend Namco Bandai to give Nintendo some attention here and bring the game out for their next-gen console.
