The first Strider game was a fast paced, side scrolling action title that arrived in arcades in 1989 (and Sega Genesis the year after), and for the game’s 25th anniversary, Capcom is giving us one awesome looking reboot.

This reboot is set to come out in 2014 and will arrive on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. As for story details that we know right now…the action takes place in the year 2048 and follows our same hero, Strider Hiryu, as he sets off to assassinate a dictator called the Grandmaster.
