Namco Bandai just showed off a new trailer for the Wii U version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 which comes out this November and in it, we see a lot of Nintendo lovin’.

Mario, Luigi, Fox McCloud, Samus Aran, Link, and Zelda costumes…plus game modes with Power Up and Poison mushrooms are all a part of the Wii U build. I wonder if any Nintendo characters will actually “be” in the game, too…

  1. Didn’t see that one coming. Mushroom Battle looks wild! LOL at Heihachi dressed up as Mario. XD

If All-Stars can have Heihachi, maybe the next Smash Bros. could have a Tekken character as well, since Namco Bandai is developing it. 😀

    1. Namco already stated they won’t add a Tekken character because Tekken isn’t that popular on Nintendo GBA and 3DS. The Wii U game seems to having a lot of hype.

Also they are not developing it they only assisting.
Tales, Tekken, Bandai, and some other studios of Namco are assisting Nintendo and Sora LTD.

Sakurai is still the director the game should be here in 2014.

For Namco rep it will be either
      Lloyd Irving for Tales series
      Pac-Man
      KOS-MOS
      Digimon character
      Klonoa about 35%
      Soul Calibur character
      Dragon Ball character

      1. Harada said he’s not really sure at the moment, so there’s a very slim chance. A rep from the other Namco series you’ve listed would be great too, but I’m not sure about Dragon Ball, since that originated from a manga and not a game. Still, I don’t mind Goku appearing in fan-games like Super Smash Flash 2 and Super Smash Bros. Crusade.
