Fun way to end the weekend: Going to the Orange County Fair!

Today was going to be about a different kind of fun, but when I found out that it was the last day of the OC Fair, it was clear what had to be done. Watching little pigs race around a track, seeing the Budweiser horses, eating deep fried Oreos and turkey legs that look like the animals themselves were on steroids, enjoying some great art, music, and just having a ton of fun all around. There really is a lot to do at a place like this and certainly a lot to buy. Dozens of different booths were present, where you could pick up exotic plants, custom made t-shirts, diverse, cultural clothing, and awesome hats. Rides, carnival games, tons of walking, and lots of people…oh and did I mention all of the 3DS StreetPasses that I got? Awesome as well. Definitely a great day. And going with my girlfriend only made it that much better and that much more memorable. I love the hat…thank you!

If any of you ever get a chance to visit your own big fair, it’s well worth it. Just an FYI though…bring enough cash and credit cards!
