On Saturday night I went to the Hollywood Bowl with my girlfriend to see the Pixar in Concert event and had a really good time. Amongst the thousands in attendance was Randy Newman, which was both a surprise and a welcomed addition to the night. A couple of pictures and a video or two don’t really do justice to the audio delight you experience at something like this, but here’s a small sample, regardless.

Several minutes from the Up performance.

A showing of what the crowd looked like: max capacity.

If you like the music that Pixar creates for its movies, then I’d recommend this concert to you. Sometimes life gets busy, so it’s nice to get to sit back and enjoy someone else’s talents and just take it in once in a while. I hope you all had a good weekend as well. And a special shout out to my girl, “Thank you for the Pixar in Concert t-shirt!”
