It’s hard to believe, but the Xbox 360 will soon be entering its 7th year of its lifecycle and it’s continuing to provide Microsoft with some truly awesome numbers…as a matter of fact, its best week ever.

Larry Hryb (perhaps better known as Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson) just announced at MajorNelson.com that during the week of Black Friday, Xbox 360 sold a whopping 960,000 units…with 800,000 of them being sold in just a 24 hour period.

Not only that, but there were 750,000 Kinect sensors sold during that same period (numbers include standalone and bundled). Great work, Microsoft. Here’s to the rest of the holidays being successful.
