Prior to WWE ’12’s release, one of the things that hasn’t been fully revealed yet is exactly what stars of both present and past will appear in the game. Today wrestling fans learned of one more entertainer from the early 2000’s that made the cut: Brock Lesnar.

UFC's Brock Lesnar in WWE '12 on Paul Gale Network

Dana White had the following to say to TMZ regarding UFC’s former Heavyweight Champion being in a new WWE game, “I love WWE and I have nothing but love for Vince McMahon. I’m totally OK with Brock being in the game.”

I think it’s especially cool for Vince McMahon and Dana White, along with everyone else in the WWE and UFC respectively to make this happen for the fans. At the end of the day, it really benefits all three parties…or four (the last two being Brock himself and THQ, the game’s developer).

UFC gets one of their biggest stars even more recognition, WWE gets one of its former hot stars in their new game, Lesnar gets to continue being a “larger than life” figure, and us fans looking forward to the game get one more cool character to control.

WWE ’12 did win Paul Gale Network’s award for Best Sports Game of E3 2011. Here’s hoping that the final product really delivers.
