Video Games Live is one of the most fun events you can experience if you’re a gamer…or simpler yet, just want to have an awesome night. My good friend Tommy Tallarico has been touring around the world, putting on many amazing performances with orchestras since July 6th, 2005. Each year VGL gets bigger and better, doing more events in more countries, and slowly expanding on what video games they pay tribute to.
I am more than happy to say that on October 8th, 2010, Tommy and his gang of talented musicians decided to add Street Fighter II music to their lineup while on tour in Brazil. The music has a bit of Guile, Ryu, and Ken and is 100% awesome. Just listen to the thousands of fans in Sao Paulo, as they cheer on and go especially wild when Blanka comes on screen!
Even though I personally didn’t attend this show, I’ve been to several in the past and each time I go, I leave feeling totally alive and electric. I definitely recommend going in person whenever Video Games Live comes to your city, state, or heck…country, because a little video online can in no way compare to the real deal! For a little sample though, enjoy this.
This video is great, but the real thing is truly unforgettable. I personally love the Street Fighter franchise and am eagerly awaiting the next time I go to VGL to hear this live.
