This week in software, Pikmin 4 hung onto the number one spot and has now sold over 500,000 physical copies in Japan. There were also a couple of other new titles, including Crymachina, which sold most on Nintendo Switch.

In hardware, all three current-gen platforms saw a nice increase over last week, with Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 also up over this same week in 2022. The next massive game coming out is Starfield for Xbox Series, dropping September 6th. With the game also being on Game Pass, will it show up in the Top 10 at launch? We’ll see. See you next week!
