Last month, in this article, Paul Gale Network revealed that a Nintendo Hollywood store is coming to Universal CityWalk, California and that it would most likely be taking the place of the former Saddle Ranch restaurant. I also stated that on today’s date (November 16th) you should be seeing a video presentation from Nintendo, revealing what the new store looks like.

When I originally found out the news that said store was coming, back in July, I held onto it due to Nintendo’s investor meeting happening a few days later. It has been four months and Nintendo still has not revealed anything publicly, but that’s because they’re usually a company that plans things far in advance, has multiple projects and partnerships going on at once (keeping them plenty busy), and is simply not quite ready.

Nintendo Hollywood will take up close to 15,000 square feet (half of the red, outlined area)

I asked my sources if there was anything new that I may provide and was told that plans are still moving in the right direction, though slowly. I also know that close to half of the former Saddle Ranch is still the most likely candidate, bringing the new Nintendo Hollywood Store to approximately 15,000 square feet (about 5,000 bigger than Nintendo New York).

What about today though? What about the 16th? There is still time left in the day but don’t count on it. Nintendo needs additional time. More on the way.
