Paul Gale Network invites you to celebrate #Pokemon20 with the Global Pokérap!
Paul Gale Network wants to invite the world to celebrate together in Pokémon’s 20th anniversary with a very special Global Pokérap!

As a 32 year old video gamer, journalist, and industry adviser, Pokémon is a franchise that I feel has left one of the most powerful impacts on pop culture. Nintendo is celebrating this series’ 20th anniversary in a big way this year, by bringing Pokémon Blue, Pokémon Red, and Pokémon Yellow to systems in the Nintendo 3DS family (February 27th), releasing Pokkén Tournament on the Wii U (March 18th), Pokémon GO on iPhone and Android devices (2016), new Pokémon cards, rare Pokémon digital distribution events, partnering with Build-a-Bear in releasing a special Pikachu plush, and possibly some surprises!

Since Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have been so awesome to us for the last 20 years and are continuing to be great in 2016 by giving us even more Pokémon fun, I thought it would be nice to give something back and that’s what Paul Gale Network’s Global Pokérap is all about. All you have to do to participate is submit a 1 second clip of yourself saying one of the original 150 Pokémon to Paul Gale Network. Here’s how you can join the fun:

How to submit using Twitter: @PaulGaleNetwork Here’s my #Pokemon20 #PokemonPGN #NameOfPokemonYouWishToSubmit video!

How to submit using Instagram: @PaulGaleNetwork Here’s my Pokemon20 PokemonPGN #NameOfPokemonYouWishToSubmit video!

How to submit using Facebook: Facebook.com/PaulGaleNetworkPGN Here’s my Pokemon20 PokemonPGN #NameOfPokemonYouWishToSubmit video!

How to submit using YouTube: YouTube.com/PaulGale Here’s my Pokemon20 PokemonPGN #NameOfPokemonYouWishToSubmit video!

We will do our best to use every single entry we get, even if there are multiple entries per Pokémon. PGN will also be updating the list below from time to time with how many entries there currently are for each Pokémon. To best ensure that your submission gets used, however, use the Comments Section below to share your link with PGN.

To give an example just to be clear, if you’re using Instagram and want to submit yourself saying Pikachu, it would go like this: @PaulGaleNetwork Here’s my #Pokemon20 #PokemonPGN #Pikachu video! You can say more than that if you wish, but by using those three hastags, it will allow us to find you and keep track of your submission. The plan is to run this event from Febraury 7th to May 7th and release/give Paul Gale Network’s Global Pokérap to Nintendo as a special gift on June 1st, just before E3 2016.

I hope you all have fun filming and submitting! Whether it’s you solo on screen recording yourself, you with a group of friends all shouting at once, or anything else you can think up…I’m looking forward to your entries and working on this project. Thank you and here’s to the #Pokemon20 commercial today during Super Bowl 50, Pokémon Day on February 27th, and this series all year round! Gotta catch ’em all!

Bryson Paul Gale and Paul Gale Network having fun with Pikachu, Yoshi, Squirtle, Link, and Amiibo Yarn Yoshi
I mentioned in the video that I have a 14 month old son who’s a Pokémon fan. See!

Bryson Paul Gale is also an all around Nintendo fan that loves Amiibo!

Bryson Paul Gale exploring our back yard like Link in The Legend of Zelda or Ash in Pokémon on Paul Gale Network!
He even travels across the land, searching far and wide!

Bryson Paul Gale is busy at work helping out on Paul Gale Network's Global Pokérap!
Depending on how many entries we get, Bryson is going to have a lot of work on his hands with this Global Pokérap!

Thanks to Paul Gale Network’s Youth Correspondent, Jack Hirsch for filming and David Razavi for editing!
