I have been going to Collector’s Paradise since it opened back in 1994, so several years ago when I started seeing my favorite comic book shop appear in Bat in the Sun‘s Super Power Beat Down videos…I was really proud. I was happy for Ed and Joseph (the store’s creators) for having Collector’s Paradise become the home of such an awesome an awesome series online. All the while, it was also a joy to watch each new installment of Super Power Beat Down.

How fitting was it then, for today when I went into my local comic shop to see none other than Aaron, Sean, Marisha, and Jenny! They were setting up to film a segment for this Friday’s Spider-Man vs. Darth Maul video and when I asked if they had a moment to talk and take pictures, they were more than happy to!

It was really nice of everyone to chat with me and for taking this awesome picture! Not only that, but they were really kind to my one year old son, Bryson and wife, Kim too. 🙂 If you haven’t seen one of their productions before, you really need to check them out. Here’s the link to their YouTube page, where you can view past Super Power Beat Down episodes. Everything they do is really high quality. The costumes they come up with of the various superheroes and supervillains are always awesome, the special effects are top notch, and the actual fight choreography is really well done. As for the outcomes of each match? That’s always determined by us the fans. If the percentage of votes was fairly close, then they’ll usually film an alternate ending.
