For starters, the PS4 build of the game will run in 1080p, compared to 720p from the Wii U, PS3, and Xbox 360 versions. Secondly, everything will be heavily anti-aliased, which will give the game a much more clean, jaggie-free look. The Ultimate Edition on PlayStation 4 will also have about 4 times the texture work on its characters than its PS3 cousin, thanks to NetherRealm having the opportunity to be closer to their original source art files. Control touch pad swipes have also been implemented. And final incentive to pick up the title…it’s only $10 for the digital upgrade if you already purchased the PS3 version.
No Xbox One talk of the game has been brought up just yet, but expect it to be announced before too long.
