This may come as a bit of surprise to some of you, but the developer-publisher relationship between SuperBot Entertainment and Sony Computer Entertainment (respectively) is ending. It’s happening on good terms, however, as both studios are grateful and have mutual respect, but just don’t expect SuperBot to handle any more of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale’s future DLC.
The Sony Santa Monica studio will be in charge of PSASBR from here on out and SuperBot themselves will continue being a developer, while looking for a new publisher to take them in. This was expected news for Paul Gale Network as I’ve heard rumblings in the past several weeks, but I’m sure that it’s shocking and likely disappointing for many of the former partnership’s fans.
Don’t worry though…if you’re a fan of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, you’ll still be getting future content. And if you’re a fan of SuperBot Entertainment as a studio, rest assured that development of its new project is already on its way.
well that’s good to hear I was worried about that superbot have a lot of talent and it would be awesome if sony made another game with superbot, oh well at least they are going to be fine, by the way paul I hear some rumors that santa monica already cancelled some of the dlc like abe… do you think that’s true???? and also do you know if superbot is working on a new game?? thanks paul 😀
This certainly sucks balls because Superbot was the only dev that would speak as openly as possible with its fans.Now how are we to request certain characters, level mash ups, items etc….They should hire some reps to take care of the fan front of things like clockw0rk did.THey need someone to scan the forums and websites on a daily checking on fan rection etc and without that I have little faith in SSM to bring this game back into the forefront…one things for sure, even if they do successfully get rid of the bugs,properly balance the game, add new modes and characters we all wanted, nothing will ever take away the love I had for Superbot..

Sucks, I really do like Superbot. Was this due to poor sales or just disagreements between them? Also will the game get dlc beyond Isaac and Zeus?
