We’ve known for a while that the PlayStation 3 version of Street Fighter X Tekken would be getting some exclusive characters including Cole McGrath from inFamous and the Sony cat mascots, Toro and Kur…but what about the Xbox 360 build? Well unfortunately, according to an interview conducted today with Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono, Xbox 360 owners won’t get anyone special. This is what he had to say to Xbox360Achievements.org:

“We do have the exclusive characters for the Sony platform. We have Cole, the two Sony cats, Kuro and Toro. But basically for the Xbox 360, we were in discussions with them (Microsoft) for which character to put in as an exclusive, but we weren’t able to decide on a character because of differences in timing and things like that. So unfortunately for Street Fighter X Tekken, only the PlayStation family will be getting the exclusive characters, but it’s something we wish could have happened. It’s just too bad, basically.”

I second that, Yoshi. Does this impact your decision on which version you’ll be picking up…if either (or PS Vita’s)?
