We all know that Nintendo is going to have a big showing of a completed build (or nearly finished) Wii U at E3 2012 this June, but a lot of speculation has been going around as of late about whether or not PlayStation 4 or Xbox 3 may show up.

At least now, we have an answer for the former. The below quote comes straight from Sony’s own Kaz Hairai in an interview that he gave to The Wall Street Journal:

“Andy (House) is absolutely right in that we are not making any announcements at E3. I’ve always said a 10-year life cycle for PS3, and there is no reason to go away from that.”

There you have it. Now Sony could still bust out a big surprise, but I’d count on this most likely being the truth. Now for the other question: Will Microsoft reveal Xbox 3 in some capacity or will Wii U be the only next-gen console at the show?
