It’s well known that Jimmy Fallon is a big video gamer and that he likes the Legend of Zelda series a lot. So when Reggie came by with Skyward Sword for Wii, Kid Icarus for 3DS, and brought along a Wii U, you can imagine how happy the star was.

In this video, one of the things I enjoyed the most is that Reggie reconfirmed that Wii U will come out after April, 2012 but didn’t suggest that it’d be a late holiday release. That right there gives me hope for July. Sure it’d be pretty odd for a company to do, but it could work out greatly in Nintendo’s favor.

June 2012: Show off a simply stellar lineup of games for Wii U at E3, then launch a pre-order campaign.

July 2012: After 6 weeks off from an amazing hype-filled E3, come out with the Wii U and be the biggest hit of the summer and then get another second launch-like boost for its first holiday season a few months later.

That’s my best case scenario…I wonder how close I’ll be in the end.
