IGN.com and GameStop.com had a big announcement this morning, and it was regarding their official merger. This means that one of the biggest video game news websites and one of the biggest outlets for video game sales are now one. Though we don’t exactly know the full details as to whether or not there will be any conflict from the crossover in specific departments, hopefully each person will be able to continue doing what they love.

Craig Harris is one of IGN’s longest lasting writers. Will he continue working specifically on the Nintendo channels of the site or with the GameStop merger, will his duties get spread out? The best of luck to eveyone involved.

Update: I forgot that Craig left IGN a couple of weeks ago in all of the excitement! Best of luck Craig, I wish you well my friend.

  1. You’re both totally right, Craig did leave. I remember when it happened and felt like the site just lost another good reviewer. Matt C., Mark B., and finally Craig H. Thanks for reminding me…in light of this morning’s big news I forgot.
