With the recent trailer of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition that shows off more Yun and Yang gameplay, there’s a little spot at the end that teases us with Evil Ryu and Oni Akuma. A lot of us were wondering if these additions to the arcade version would see a console release via DLC and just like how Yoshinori Ono in this story made it his mission to try and get Yun and Yang into the HD console versions, it looks like the same attempt is going into brining over Oni Akuma and Evil Ryu.
According to one of my friends within Capcom, it’s the 3DS version of Super Street Fighter IV that Capcom is trying to get extra characters in, since that game is still in development. Also rumored is that Capcom may even include one new character in SSF4:3DE. Lips are tight in regards to whether the new character (if included) will be from an existing Street Fighter game or new altogether for the series. For now, here’s to seeing some Evil Ryu and Oni Akuma in action.
This video has me pretty excited.

Fail.
“My friend within Capcom”… your article lost all credibility there.
If you look in the credits of Street Fighter IV, you’ll see that I’m in the game as an actual unlockable character in the European Cruise Ship Stage. Furthermore, I’ve been to 9 Electronic Entertainment Expositions over the years and 2 E for All Expos, appeared in Street Fighter Issue #7 the comic book by Udon, am currently still featured on StreetFighter.com under the series’ biggest “super fan” section, and though my site is relatively new, I have been involved in the video game industry for quite some time and have made many friends whom are more than just “contacts”…and that’s not just at Capcom. I hope that you’ll rethink my article’s credibility.

I believe why would you lie? My questions are will Evil ryu and oni akuma be playable for ps3 and 360? And will there be anymore new characters in this game?
