This November, Goldeneye is coming out for Wii, and it’s an updated take on the classic Goldeneye 007 for Nintendo 64, which was developed by Rare back in 1997. Now, thirteen years later a new generation of gamers will be able to experience many 20+ year olds first favorite console first person shooter. Hopefully with this iteration, developer Activision does a good job that will make us old school gamers, proud. I had a chance to play it at E3 and enjoyed my experience. It took a moment to get use to seeing Daniel Craig and not Pierce Brosnon, but that’s not a bad thing, just different. We’ll see how much more polish and effort will go into the final build when it’s released in just four more months.

Daniel Craig is James Bond
Daniel Craig supplies his voice and likeness in both new Bond games.

Blood Stone is currently expected to release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo DS. It’s an original 007 tale with current James Bond actor, Daniel Craig supply the video game likeness and voice acting and involves Bond battling on land, sea, and air throughout Athens, Istanbul, Monaco, and Bangkok. No release date is set, but expect more information in the coming weeks.
