Here’s a first look at Nintendo and Mistwalker’s upcoming Mega-RPG, The Last Story.  In this first trailer, we’re treated to 2 and a half minutes of beautiful visuals, art, in game footage, intense battles, and a sample of what could be a powerful soundtrack.

The Last Story’s Logo features some nice art.

Nintendo is acting as the game’s Publisher with Mistalker developing the title.  Hironobu Sakaguchi is the game’s lead designer, and in case you’re not familiar with that name, he is one of the original creators behind the Final Fantasy series.

Enjoy the first trailer of The Last Story.

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo’s President, has stated in the past that Mistwalker is seeking to create “a new form of RPG by choosing the universal theme of human emotion”.  Part of human emotion is conveyed by solid voice acting, and in this Japanese trailer, the voice actors sound up to par.  Hopefully this 2010 release in Japan makes its way to United States and the rest of the world either late this year or Q1 2011 with an equally skilled talent of voice actors.  Stay tuned for more information.

    1. Thank you very much and I’m glad that you got your first look at my site. 🙂 I hope to bring plenty of refreshing content in the months and years to come. As for the release date…well, it’s better later and solid than early and unpolished.
