Due to Golden Week beginning April 29th, we had a pause in the week of the 24th’s sales data and what you’re seeing now is representative of two weeks’ totals. As expected, Mario games received a nice boost thanks to The Super Mario Bros. Movie debuting in Japan on the 28th and so too did Nintendo Switch hardware sales. As for what’s new, Hogwarts Legacy and Star Wars are all that join the evergreens. Regarding what else is notable, Splatoon 3’s physical sales alone have now surpassed 4 million in the territory.

For those keeping track, the Nintendo Switch lead over PlayStation 5 for 2023 thus far, is 212,403. Here’s to a great weekend for all those playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom! Next week’s charts are going to be through the roof. See you then!
