The original “Pokémon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back” first game out in Japan on July 18th, 1998 and then in the United States on November 10th, 1999. “Evolution” is a cgi remake and is set to come out in Japan, this July 12th. We do not know just when will the film arrive in theaters in the rest of the world, but with Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield seeing a release on Nintendo Switch, late 2019, I would think that this movie will be out by that time.
