A Paul Gale Network reported last night, Nintendo announced that on October 20th at 7am PST, they would be showing off their new system and without further ado ado, here is the Nintendo Switch!
Wow, right!? Nintendo Switch is Nintendo’s next-gen video game console that’s a hybrid unit and is designed to be fully playable both at home on your TV via its docking station and entirely on the go. The Nintendo Switch and all of its main guts is actually the tablet-like device, that the approximately 6.2″ screen sits on. Connectable are the Left and Right Joy-Con controllers and those controllers can actually be removed and played either independently of the other or joined with a Joy-Con Grip. There’s also a very comfortable/more traditional looking Nintendo Switch Pro Controller that you can use either when the Switch is in its dock or standing up on its own, thanks to the kickstand on the back.|
Nintendo plans on releasing this awesome looking new platform (formerly known in code as NX) in March of 2017. The trailer looked great, the short glimpse of first and third party games looked very promising, and now it’s just a matter of waiting for Nintendo to give us more. Here’s to Switch!
