There have been rumors circulating recently, suggesting that Nintendo was no longer going to make the current, white, 8gb Basic Wii U sku avaialable any longer, but NOA’s Senior Director of Corporate Communications, Charlie Scibetta, said that the company only plans on re-balancing the ratio of Basic to Premium bundles of the console, to their existing retail partners. Japan will soon be getting a 32gb version of the console in white, so that is a possibility for the US market, but nothing has been confirmed at this point.
