Crash Bandicoot on Paul Gale Network
Crash Bandicoot could be returning.

There are a number of rumors floating around Activision and Neversoft that a new Crash Bandicoot game is in development. It’s hard to to say whether one will become a reality or not, and if so, just how drastic of a departure from the regular series it will be, but there is a certain countdown over at CrashMania.net that’s nearing its end, and just maybe it’s tied together. More as it comes, but in the meantime, do you want a new Crash game and if you do, what do you want from it?

Personally, I have to say from the start that though the team of Activision and Neversoft would probably deliver a solid product, I’d be most happy if Naughty Dog was responsible…since it was their baby and all. Hopefully whomever handles the game will do the series justice. It sure would be nice to have Super Mario Galaxy 2, Sonic Colors, and Crash Reboot side by side, all with good scores wouldn’t it?

  1. A reboot is what the series needs. If Naughty Dog bought back the rights and made a PS3 crash games that are like the first 3, that would be a dream come true. I’d also love to see a Crash Bandicoot Collection of 1-3 and CTR.

If we ever want the old Crash back, first things first, Activision has got to go. Sony should publish and ND should develop.
