On Ed Boon’s twitter page, he just stated that for starters, there will be no more character DLC added in to Mortal Kombat 9, but that Quan Chi and Harley Quinn were at one point in a working state in the game.
Regarding a new character reveal for Injustice: Gods Among Us, Mr. Boon said, “We are working on it. :)”…and there you have it. So I’d say, expect to see someone new in the coming weeks.
