Link Mosaic and Triforce Mosaic for Zelda Pool by Paul Gale Network

Today is July 7th, 2024, and is my 41st birthday. It’s also still within the year of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’s 25th anniversary, which is why I decided to create the world’s first Link and Triforce themed pool mosaic!

The Legend of Zelda series is one of my absolute favorites in gaming, with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time specifically, being my favorite game of all time, from 1998 through 2018…only to be replaced with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Since it’s the 25th anniversary of one and the 7th anniversary of the other (being born on 07-07, it’s kind of my number), I thought that I would do for Link, what I did for Mario, when Super Mario Bros. turned 35, back in September of 2018 (and putting Mario jumping for a Superstar in my pool).

Link is made up of 282 individual 1” x 1” pieces of tile.
The Triforce is made up of 235 individual 1” x 1” pieces of tile.
The total pieces of tile: 517

Thank you to all at Nintendo, particularly Shigeru Miyamoto, and Eiji Aonuma for the countless memories in this amazing series. I’m happy that it’s alive and well…truly thriving more than it ever has.

Here’s to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and all future entries!
Fan for Life,
Paul Gale
