Childhood obesity rates in America have tripled over the past three decades, and for the first time in
\nour Nation’s history, the current generation may be on track to have a shorter lifespan than their parents.
\nThese trends are startling, but I am encouraged because I know that individuals and organizations are
\nalready hard at work to combat this issue.<\/p>\n
We launched Let’s Move!<\/em> with an ambitious national goal of solving the challenge of childhood We are going to need everyone working together to achieve our goal, and so I urge you to join us Sincerely, I received this very kind letter in the mail today from Mrs. Michelle Obama and just wanted to share it with all of you. What Mrs. Obama wrote to me is greatly appreciated. It’s an honor to have The White House acknowledge my efforts in helping America battle childhood obesity and I couldn’t be a stronger advocate of the cause.
