If there’s any trilogy in the video game world these days that would be hard to see “let go and forgotten” I’d say that Gears of War and Mass Effect are probably the top two that I hope go beyond their “Part 3”. Fortunately, in the new issue of PSM3 which is available on newsstands today, BioWare’s Casey Hudson said, “We don’t know exactly, but there will be more Mass Effect for Mass Effect fans, I’m sure.” This was when answering the question of what will happen next with the series.<\/p>\n

So although we didn’t get an all out confirmation of a prequel to the trilogy or a sequel, it’s at least safe to assume that we haven’t seen the last of the series and I’m happy for it.
