On December 4th, Paul Gale Network received a couple of rumors regarding Zone of Enders 3 and Hideo Kojima’s current game in development. A lot of controversy arose over Kojima Productions’ rumored title in particular, so I contacted Konami and just received an e-mail back.<\/p>\n

“Konami [does] not provide official comments on speculation or rumors.” That right there was unfortunately the reply that Konami had to give, but the rep did thank me for getting the stories in touch with them.<\/p>\n

What does this mean? Unfortunately…just about nothing, but that was expected. A confirmation of the stories being true would be far too unlikely and a denial of their existence may have drawn a different type of suspicion. Thus the safest answer for a company to give (and the most unfortunate to hear) is “no comment”. This might not be what you wanted, but at the very least, I wanted to provide you with what I could from the company, since I’m the one who broke both stories in the first place.<\/p>\n

Both rumors were highly discussed throughout the internet, with nearly everyone being pro-Z.O.E.3 (and MGS5 for that matter) and many gamers showing some kind of interest in the controversial, “taboo” Hideo Kojima game. Of course there were also people who definitely didn’t care for the rumored Kojima Productions title.<\/p>\n

For now we’ll have to just wait and see what comes, but feel free to discuss your thoughts on either game proposed in the mean time. If PGN hears anything else, you’ll definitely know about it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
